Christmas Lights!

So our Great friends the Allen's have this AMAZING light show at their house .... people are already lined up outside to watch it and the lights flicker to the music on the radio. Well, Carter and I felt there was one thing missing - A LIGHT UP PACKER PLAYER! It's a neccessity, don't you think?? So, we snuck up to there house and added it to their display ... judging by Mike's reaction I think they LOVED it and will keep it up all year long. (He is a Chargers Fan) :-)

Snuggling, Shopping, and Manicures ... Oh MY!!

Adrian has her 1st boyfriend ... Dodger! Aren't they cute??
Nells played games with the kids while we all recovered from the Feast - thanks Nells!

Hannah, Julie, and I braved the stores at 4 AM ... incognito. :-)

Yes Carter was one of the recipients of a manicure!!!! He got a lot of strange looks this week!

Happy Thanksgiving!

What an awesome Thanksgiving!!! We have so much to be thankful for! But this particular day was SOOOO nostalgic. The cousins played together, the adults laughed together, and we all just enjoyed each other and of course the FOOD!! Thanks Brad and Julie for opening up your beautiful home to us - you guys ROCK!

Help!! I need photagraphy Advice!

First of all let me start by saying Hutch started basketball and was a RIOT to watch!! When they scrimmaged he scored 4 out of the 5 baskets, but each time he had to be redirected to the right hoop!!! I don't think he dribbled once and he just plowed through the other little guys like a HUGE lineman!
Now here's for the advice - these were my BEST 3 pics. I cannot get the lighting right in a Gym! It's either too dark, red eyes, or blurry with movement. I asked other moms and they had the Same problem, any advice??

I left the theatre wanting more .... it just couldn't be long enough. For those of you who haven't read it yet (Rachael) read the book first it is still better than the movie, but I thought they did an amazing job. It was my beautiful angel's birthday on the 19th of November. I wanted to tell more than just Tammi, how I feel about her. She is my everything. I mean that! You hear people say all the time so and so is my everything. I think it means that I would not be able to function physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritiual without Tammi. I can't imagine not waking up next to her everyday for the rest of our lifes. She makes me excited for each and every day. There is no one else I would rather spend time with. I am excited to grow old with her, so we can be old together. When I see her now, she just makes me happy. I love her smile! There truly is nothing I would not do to make her laugh.
I know that God lives and I know He loves each and everyone of us. I didn't go on a mission to meet Tammi. But I truly believe that it was in His plan. We are to perfect to not have been made to be together.
Baby, you are my angel. I appreciate all you do for me and our family. You are the glue that holds us together. I LOVE YOU! It's not eazy sometimes, because our arguments are doozys, but even then I LOVE YOU! I don't know if this is much of a gift or not, but I want you to know that you have me. I cannot live without you and I do not want to live without you. I am not talking about laundry, dishes, cleaning, the boys, or all of the many things you do, I am talking about not having you with me. You are Me and I am You! We are one and I hope the dear Lord takes us at the same time. Everyone that reads these blogs I want you to know that I LOVE TAMARA MAE MILLER MORE THAN ANY OF YOU KNOW. I AM THE LUCKIEST MAN ON EARTH TO BE MARRIED TO ONE OF GODS CHOICEST HANDMAIDENS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!

Primary Program

Today was our Primary Program at church. (I am home early because I had the stomach flu yesterday - I just couldn't miss the program portion). Porter and Hutch did great! Porter gave a talk and Hutch said his cute little line about being a missionary. When the program was over the Bishop came up, and he said exactly what I was thinking. "I cannot add to that."

Those sweet little children stood before us and reminded us of the lesson we forget as adults. "Be Nice." "Help your little Brother" "Follow Jesus' Example" "If the Savior stood beside me, would I do the things I do."

I am greatful for my children and the examples they are to me!!

Happy Veteran's Day!

Here's a little shout out to my brother, Shawn, who served in the Army. This is one holiday that I like to honor him. He did something that I don't think I could do ... he took 4 years of his life and devoted it to our country. He served in Georgia, Hawaii, Austrailia, Arkansas, and Japan! I was SOOO sad the day he left, but I couldn't be more proud of him today! Please take the time today to thank those around you that have served in this manner.

Porter and Mrs. Reid

I just needed to add this quick snapshot of Porter and his darling teacher, Mrs. Reid. I loved going to his class and watching the interactions. I could see that Mrs. Reid really liked Porter and that just warmed my heart!

Saturday fun with Grandma Nut

What a FUN day!!! We started out at the annual Sheep parade down Main Street Cedar City .... 1,000 sheep headed on down the road. Hillarious!! After that we went to Super Sat. at our church, followed by a High School Musical 3 matinee (it rocked!) We then proceeded to the bowling ally. The big loser was Grandma Nut with a whopping 48 points!! WOW!!

This is Carter and yes this is my very first blog. I figured since JT can blog, I can! Last night was last game of the season for the Black Shirts. It was a great season. Even though our record was not what I am used too, it was by far one of my favorite as a coach. I am so grateful that things worked out the way they did and I am at CVHS. I loved this season, I love the coaches I coach with, and I especially loved the players I coached. Moving to Cedar has been the best thing for my family and I. I love being a teacher and coach. One of my favorite parts of the season was that before each game the players would line up on the goal line and I would yell NORTH SIDE and they would yell PRIDE while they ran at me for a team yell. I definately have NORTH SIDE PRIDE! GO BLACK SHIRTS!
