What a fun night!!! And the reason I'm not sleeping isn't because I'm so excited, although I am, it's because I ate WAAAAY too much (see pics. below) Ya' know it's always fun to be a Packer fan, but tonight was especially fun!!! It was GREAT to be surrounded by family and friends and to just laugh and have a good time! Amazing Husband, Amazing Kids, Good Food, Good Family, Good Friends, and the Lombardi trophy coming home.....What more could a Wisconsin girl ask for???

Hutch and Coops Basketball Season has come to a Close

It was another GREAT Jr. Jazz Season!!! Hutch was quite the little ball hog on the court; that kid is so focused out there, he just loves the game!!!!

Cooper began the year with the usual twirls and dance moves, but by the end of the season we were all shocked to see him score a couple of shots and actually get involved in the game!!! There is some hope for him after all, that is hope for some basketball skills!!

Hutcher's Baptism

Our sweet Hutcher was baptized today!!! What a GREAT day!!! We were surrounded by amazing friends and family and Hutch felt truly LOVED. And P.S. That awesome cake over there tasted even better than it looks.... if you can believe that! :-)

Here's just a small glimpse of our Disney Christmas..... This first picture was such a magical moment!!! It "snows" each night on main street in Disneyland!!! It was amazing!! It was such a fun Holiday!!! Carter was such a trooper, hauling Cooper on his shoulders all day long. I love that in the hustle and fun ..... we all still took the time to remember the Savior's birth and all that he did for us while he was on the earth. I'm so glad that my children know at such a young age that their brother Jesus is the Savior and through him we can be forgiven of our sins.

We had the most MAGICAL breakfast with the disney characters!!!! The food was great, but being with those characters made you feel like a kid again!!! Soooooo much fun!!!

Creche Festival

What's a Creche??? Well, it's just a fancy word for Nativity. Cedar City has a Creche festival where anyone can bring their most favorite nativities to set up and share for public viewing and the children do a live nativity in 10 minute intervals. This year Porter depicted Joseph and Hutch was one of the wisemen. It is really quite a neat experience for the children to feel the TRUE spirit of Christmas. Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Decorating the Tree

3rd Annual Tree Hunt

We embarked on our 3 rd annual tree hunt with the Stokes' family and as usual it was a HUGE success!!! Let's just say there are 3 less trees on that mountainside!The kids had a blast throwing snowballs and sledding, the men were tired and cranky and Carter fell in the deep snow NUMEROUS times!!! I thought it was HILARIOUS!! Kris and I caught up, laughed and chatted..... Good times were had by All!!!

Turkey Day 2010

What a great Thanksgiving!!!! These pictures certainly don't give it justice!! This was just our idea of fun, and the kids LOVED being the photographers. This Thanksgiving we laughed hard, played hard, shopped hard, and ate even more than all of that combined. My favorite part of the entire weekend was watching the children play together!! They got along SO well together, it reminded me of my childhood and how I always looked forward to being with my cousins. I know they are creating great memories and making forever friends!! I love my family SOOO much and regardless of whether or not I was able to sit with them at the dinner table, I know I am truly blessed by my family and friends!

On Thanksgiving Day We took some of the kiddos sledding and had sooooooo much fun!!!! Some of them had NEVER been sledding before, so this was quite an experience for them!!! I will admit.... I stole the sled and went down a couple times myself!! :-)

It's REALLY hard to get angry with this cute face.... HOWEVER..... just the other day he and Cooper decided to make an obstacle course in the living room, and though I know it wasn't planned, the finish line was the inside of my hutch!!!! Hutch went right through it, butt first!!!! He made it out alright, without even a scratch.... that kid is lucky!!!

For Years I have given Carter a kiss before the start of each of his games. It's gone by unnoticed by most for about a decade now, however 2 weeks ago a parent noticed (he's a great friend of ours) and he was ready this week.... so he snapped a picture of us! That's when I learned that according to this picture I lift my leg like a silly little girl when I kiss my husband!!! :-) Oh well!!! I love the guy and I guess I'm still twitterpated by him.

Porter is in the middle of his 5th grade tackle football season and he's having a great year!!! This is the one and only daytime game and he was filling in for the center who was sick. He liked it, but I couldn't get great pictures, bummer!

We love going to his games because he's always smiling and having a good time. He LOVES to hit and is proud of his teammates when they make a big play too. Hopefully they make it to the playoffs and we can get some more daytime footage! :-)

Hutch has had a FANTASTIC season! He's not afraid to take a hit and he's gotten quite a few flags. :-) He LOVES football!! And that makes his daddy VERY happy. Last game Hutch got this kids flag and the kid punched him right in the head. Hutch just stood up and asked him, "Why did you punch me in the head?" I swear he feels absolutely NO PAIN!! He's so fun to watch and is always making us laugh.

Red Rock Relay

I did something a little crazy this weekend; I, along with 11 others as a team, ran just over 180 miles in about 30 hours. It was amazing! I already want to do it again!!! I'm totally addicted! We laughed, we cried, we ran, and we bonded. I had a lot of favorite parts, like achieving my own personal goal and watching others meet theirs as well, but my favorite was having my little family meet me there at the end. Porter missed his first football game just to cheer me on, not a lot of kids his age would be so willing to do that. I am grateful for my family, friends, and a body that puts up with what I put it through!

Cooper's 1st Day of Kindergarten!

Today was Cooper VERY first day of Kindergarten and he LOVED it!!!! He came home singing songs and couldn't wait to go back!! He's my baby, but I wasn't sad to see him go, I was so happy, because he was and because this year the 4 of us will all be at the same school!!! Super fun!!!

Porter and Hutch started 5th and 3rd grade!!! This will be the one and only year all 3 boys get to go to the same school; Cooper is anxiously awaiting his chance to go to Kindergarten!! They both seem to LOVE their new teachers and look forward to a great year!! I get to work at their school as a special ed. aid, so I will keep a watchful eye out for any great stories to post!!!

This was one of my favorite fishing/swimming trips to Lake Navaho!!! We went with our GREAT friends the Hamptons... the kids just had a blast... and the fish were happy too, because we didn't catch a single one of those! :-)

In a shocking turn of events a great deal of our summer was enjoyed in the great outdoors!!! Carter took up fishing.... therefore we all took up fishing!!! :-) The boys LOVED every minute of it!!! And Porter caught the biggest one of the summer! We also ventured away from the lakes and did some hiking.

Some people dream of Porches and Lamborginis..... well here is the Miller's dream car!!! It doesn't get any CLASSIER than that!!!

After our gold mine in the parking lot, we proceeded to the awesome water park!!! There were 4 indoor and 4 outdoor water parks all in the resort we stayed at.... needless to say we did not run out of things to do and we WILL be returning!!! Thanks Grandma Nut!!! :-)

Here are some pics. of my grandparents. They have always been a HUGE support to me. I swam in their pool since the summer I was born, we raced down their drive way in a little red wagon as cousins, they came to my games in high school, and to this day they call me just to say "Hi." On July 4th they will be married 62 years!!! They have been such a great example to me and I love them dearly.

If you drove by CV high school last week this is what you would have seen proudly displayed in front of the school..... it's a message for Carter!!! No matter where that man teaches the kids just love him and they find the most creative ways to show him, we thought this was great!!

Carter is such an awesome teacher, not because he has the most detailed lesson plans, but because he truly cares for the kids at the school, and they know that and they look up to him and they look to him when they need someone. I truly admire him for that.

Our Porter turned 10 over the weekend.... I can't believe how time flies! It seems like not too long ago he was this sweet little baby that I could just pick up and snuggle when ever I wanted to.... Oh, how I do miss those days. But, he has turned out to be the best boy!! It's my blog, so, I can brag so here goes: He is the Sweetest, Kindest, most compassionate boy I have EVER been around, and I think he's quite a little athlete too!! I secretly call him a gentle giant, because he's one of the biggest, toughest kids in his grade, but he's as compassionate and caring as anyone I've EVER met. I love that kid I am grateful for his example in my life....he's just GOOD! He makes mistakes like all kids do, but I know in his heart his intentions are good. Happy Birthday, Porter!!!

What a GREAT visit we had from Uncle Shawn!!! It began with a SURPRISE!..... the boys didn't even know he was coming, so they woke up in the morning to him making them breakfast, so fun!!

Each boy took a day off of their busy schedules and spent the day with him bowling, movie, park, kites, board games, whatever!!!! It was SO nice and the boys felt so special, they are so lucky they have a great uncle like him!!!

Wrestling 2010

All 3 boys wrestled at a tournament last Sat. and this is Hutch showing off his 2nd Place Medal..... also wearing his singlet like "Big Show" if any of you know who that is!! Hutch is a GREAT wrestler... he's tough, knows his moves, and likes to make kids cry.... he's like his dad, I guess.

Porter got 1st Place in the tournament!!! He's also very tough, but very sensitive, when he made a kid cry, he kept worrying and asking if he was ok. I love that side of Porter!!

And sweet little Cooper, he received a 4th place medal in his division, which in all honestly, was last place. I love my Cooper, but he's a Lover, not a fighter. :-)

We also had cute little Tessa at the matches cheering for the boys..... and she gets 1st prize in my books!!

Porter had no problem jumping right back into wrestling... He loves it, but he's sore today! (I'm guessing this kid might be too!)

I think we may have found a sport that Cooper won't skip in!!! Wahoo!! At first he was doing his usual somersaults, but once the "wrestling" part began, I was shocked!!! He locked right on and didn't give up!

And Hutcher, well he's got the eye of the tiger, baby!!! He sees his poor little opponent and goes for him! Poor kid left crying. :( Hopefully learns to save that energy for competition and can be a little kinder to his teammates!

Blue and Gold Banquet

Porter had his blue and gold banquet last night for scouts, and it was AMAZING!!! Seriously! Check out the outstanding decorations and awesome cake!!! What a FUN night! Since Wrestling season begins for the 3 boys in 2 days, I thought I should pop back on here and post about basketball season. Porter has one game left and has had a GREAT year!! He LOVES to steal the ball and isn't afraid to get pushed around a bit. It was SO exciting to watch him play!!! He still has such a good heart... if he knocked someone over he'd stop playing to help him up. :-) I loved that.... Carter... not so much.

It seems like Tammi always seems to get on the blog and tell everyone how great I am. Or she fools her friends into thinking I am a good husband, father, and coach. For those of you that really know me, know this isn't true. There is a lot about me that people would not put up with. But my beautiful angel of a bride does. I would be nothing without her. She is my everything! There are mornings I wake up and look at her and think, "what did I do to deserve her?" She has had to and has to put up with so much with me and deserves so much better than me. I am so glad she sticks around, because I couldn't imagine life without her. She treats me like gold. She is the best mother a boy could ask for. She lives for her boys! They are so lucky to have her and I know they will be great men because of her. Tammi, Happy Birthday! What a GREAT Halloween!!! We went trick or treating as a family and brought home quite a load of candy!!! Cooper ALWAYS remembered to say thank you, even when there was just a bowl on the porch, he would say, " Thank you imaginery friend!"

I am SO Proud of Carter!! He is an amazing coach!! Kids LOVE to be around him and truly look up to him. You should see the silly things they write about him in class, the goofy texts, but most importantly the way they admire him. Some days it's hard to be a coach's wife and have him gone so much, but it makes it so worth while when you see the effects on the youth. The boys fall sports seasons have come to a close, but basketball is only a few short weeks away!!! Porter has a lot to be proud of, his team took the championship!!! Way to go CV!!

Neighborhood Wildlife

Coop and I go for walks Every day in our neighborhood, and we ALWAYS see this beautiful stray cat that the neighborhood kids named, "Carter" (apparently they were learning the letter C that day!) Grandma Nut tried to shove him in her suitcase to bring him back to WI, but we wouldn't let her. :-)

We also see a bear!!! Cooper has named him "Tree Bear."

OK .... it's super hard to see which one of these red shirt boys is Hutch, but trust me... he is there. He's hillarious because we had just left Porter's game to come to his.... and he "forgot" he wasn't supposed to tackle. He immediately sacked the quarterback and made him cry. Oops! :-)

I can't believe the summer has come and gone!! Hutch didn't get up before 9 once this summer and he slept until noon one day!!! So, when his head popped off the ol' pillow at 6:45, you can imagine my suprise!

Soccer Star!

My Cooper is finally in organized sports!! Check out our soccer star!! In the first game he was the kid that does the somersaults off to the side of where the action is!! Wow!!! But, during the second game, he started to pay attention more and more as the game went on and actually scored a goal!! Should be a fun season!

My Great Grandma Arentz was in my life for a great many years, we were able to get 5 generation picture with her when Porter was born. One thing I didn't know about her though, was that she even got on a motorcycle!

We were visiting St. George a while back and this cute face girl could NOT get enough of her cousin Cooper!!! All he needed to do is pass by her vision and she'd start giggling and reaching for him; and Cooper was all too willing to entertain! We love you, Tessa!

Well..... it's been well over a year since our home in St. George has been on the market, but we got our first offer on Fri. and we took it!! So, if all continues to go well, we can finally move on and buy our new home in Cedar!!! Thanks for all the prayers on our behalf!!! Now for the fun.... which house do we buy!?!?

Swimming Lessons!

Coop and Hutch started swimming lessons this week!! They are having so much fun!!! Hutch's favorite part is floating on his back, and Coop's favorite part the front stroke. They are the cutest little fish in the water!!

Weekend with the Stoneys!!!

This weekend we went to visit some of our FAVORITE cousins!! We shopped, played games, ate, ate, ate, laughed, and visited the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It was just barely completed and is now open to the public. It was a neat experience to bring the kids through and see all of the beautiful rooms inside. Overall we had a GREAT weekend!! Thanks Stoney Fam!!

Happy 4th of July everyone!! Hope your day was as wonderful as ours!! In Cedar City there's a parade for just about every occassion, so of course we began our day there! We sat by friends from church and enjoyed the festivities; Cooper especially enjoyed being with his BEST friend McKinlee, as long as there together it's nothin' but good times!!

The rest of our day included the traditional BBQ with friends and of course fireworks!! We are so greatful for the soldiers who fought and continue to fight for our country. God Bless America!!

Canyon Park

We have Discovered a new Park in Cedar!!! It is sooo awesome because on hot days, the kids just play in this shallow stream!! They have boat races, treasure hunts, or just splash around!! Way Fun!! What I wouldn't give to have nice ab muscles like Hutcher!!! Wooo Hooo!!

Poor Adrian had to get her dew claws removed from her back paws and she just can't stop chewing off her casts!! We had to make homemade casts out of duct tape over the weekend, but on Mon. the Vet. gave her the cone! She is embarrassed and depressed!! Poor thing!

Kindergarten Program

The Kindergarten Program marks the end of one GREAT school year!!! We went into the school year thinking that our little Hutcher was a "special learner" and may need to go to extended Kindergarten, but Mrs. Redd saw potential in Hutch!!! Hutch sure did suprise us all!!! He loves school!! He was always excited to do his homework, and couldn't wait to get out his new daily book to read!! Hutch worked so hard this year and made us proud!! Good Job, Buddy!! Here are a couple of short clips!

Every Sunday at our ward, when you grab your weekly church bulletin there is a new design on the cover each week. The primary children decorated the covers!! Last Sunday Porter's picture was on the cover and a few weeks ago, it was Hutch's! Aren't they sweet!?!

Our Dodo turned 9 today!! Look how big he has gotten!!! Porter's lifting weights with his dad instead of playing a spring sport. He's gettin' ripped!! He shows me his abs EVERY day!

Porter has been a blessing to us since they day we new he was growing in my tummy!! I'll never forget the first time he made his daddy holler with delight ... we were having the ultrasound done and he had had his little thing tucked behind his legs so we thought he was a girl, then all of a sudden it sprang forth!! The Dr. hadn't ever seen that trick before .... unfortunately we've seen it several times since. He brings us so much joy and is such a Great example to his little brothers .... and to us! Porter is a sweet, rough and tumble, gentleman. We love you buddy!!

Grandpa Keith came by for a visit!!! It was short and sweet and the boys sure were excited to see him!! "Grandpa Keith come here" "Grandpa Keith look at this" "Grandpa Keith let's go outside!" I thought if I heard "Grandpa Keith" one more time I'd poke my ear drums out! But Grandpa was a good sport!

Zion Fun Run

This Sat., along with some friends in my ward, I took part in the Zion Park Fun Run 10K!!! It was beautiful, we ran down the canyon, over rivers, and the weather was perfect!! I am proud to tell ya' that I beat last weeks time by 2 minutes!!! Whooohooo!!!

Last week while we anxiously awaited the arrival of grandma nut, we swung over and spent some time with Tessa!! The boys get SO excited to see her that we have to kinda talk em' down a little before they run into the house and break her!!!

She's a good sport though .... she barely ever even lets outa whimper ... I think she already loves her Big, Protective Cousins. :-)

This is what I woke up to this morning!!! My dear friend Nonie came up all the way from St. George last night to pull this fun April Fools joke on me!!!! Grrrrr!!! As you can see my little girls name is a combination of my mom's and her names, because this is both their favorite day of the year!!! Each year I ignore them both, but it's tough to ignore this!!
